Minister Jeff Santos engaged in a presentation
Time and time again, those suffering demonic attacks have told us they called dozens of churches only to have each one of them say they "don't deal with that sort of thing." We are repeatedly baffled by that statement. If churches don't deal with it, then who does? The Catholic church has a laundry list of criteria that must be met before they'll perform an exorcism. Most people who are under demonic attack will not fit that criteria, though. They aren't vomiting eels and speaking some ancient language. But they are still desperate for help.
God's army is fighting against the forces of Satan to spread the Good News and to bring lukewarm Christians closer to Christ. We can no longer turn a blind eye to the activities of Satan in hopes that he will go away. The current state of society proves that the way we have been going about things isn't working to make the society better. Refusing to warn a congregation about going to hell for fear of hurting their feelings isn't working, and neither is only creating sermons that make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Educate. Deliver. Strengthen.
We must educate people by bringing to them the truth about Satan, how he works, and what he wants of us. Many people, even Christians, have a limited understanding of how Satan and his army fights. So how are they supposed to realize they are in bondage to him, much less find a way to break free?
Then we must deliver. We must help all Christians to be delivered from all levels of demonization through prayer and scripture. We must use the authority that Jesus has bestowed upon us in Luke 10:19 to cast out demons from the hearts and homes of as many Christians as possible.
Next, we will strengthen. We must strengthen the relationship that recently delivered Christians have with God, to ensure that the demons don't return. We must strengthen each congregation, because each one is a stone in the church of God, and each plays a vital role in strengthening the church.
Together, we can bring this nation into unity under the power of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
